//OOC: I assumed that Artie missed the people not mentioned in
the rec room, dining hall, or den.//
//OOC: Completely open scene! Feel free to join in!//
After leaving Doug in the hallway, Artie had canvassed the popular hangouts but had come up empty. Rogue and Julian had been in the rec room, but there was no way in hell he was asking that dick-wad, which eliminated Rogue by default. The dining hall had been devoid of friendly faces as well, which left him wondering. And the den had been taken over by the school's female population and he hadn't asked them. Not because he had anything against the girls, but because…well they were otherwise occupied. So…in a building that housed over fifty people, he'd found zero interested in their pick-up game. That meant that either the rest of the entire school population was unavailable, which was unlikely, or that he really hadn't tried that hard. It was probably the latter. Regardless, it meant that when he entered the gym, for the second time that day, he did so alone.
Hitting the lights, he made his way once again to the storage room to find a suitable ball for the game. Some were a little flat, but he managed to find one that had a nice bounce to it. Necessary equipment acquired, he dribbled back out onto the main floor. He took a few minutes to warm up, but eventually grew bored with it. Artie retrieved his last rebound and then glanced at the clock on the wall, wondering where Doug and the others, if any, were. Frowning he went over the bleachers that he'd left out from earlier and sat down to wait.
